Good enough, now that we’ve gotten rillons out of the way in which, we want to speak about Billili, the fantastic wine-slinging little brother of Les Arlots, considered one of our favourite bistros in Paris, that’s situated only a couple blocks from Gare du Nord at the western finish of the tenth. This arrondissement’s popularity would possibly precede it however, as we came upon in the previous few years, the world, which some have described as “seedy,” is considered one of Paris’ most fun spaces to consume.
Billili isn’t simply considered one of our favourite wine bars in Paris, it’s additionally remarkably reasonably priced too. Dishes, like artisan saucisson on a small baguette, are indexed on a blackboard menu. We particularly loved Billili’s glorious vitello tonnato, garnished with briny capers and spade-like pickled caper leaves. We additionally beloved Billili’s creamy brandade and the crisp organic wine that washed it down.
