The Mayfield Dinner Theatre has a line-up with one thing for everybody! The season opens with Musicians Long gone Wild, this time with a focal point on Laurel Canyon. Creative Director, Van Wilmott, says “it’s all about that song, harking back to the scene that began there – it was once the sort of second in time. On this display, the performers don’t seem to be actors, they’re all musicians telling the tale.” Elvis lovers will clamour for One Evening with the King, “which was once a Covid-casualty, a play written right through that point that needed to be cancelled,” says Wilmott. Grease will go back, adopted through On Golden Pond, a poignant story positive to talk to grandparents, their grownup children, and grandkids.
