Philadelphia’s Puerto Rican Day Parade places the wonder, exuberance and resilience of Philly’s Puerto Rican and Latino communities on complete show for all the town to have fun.
The huge, family-friendly tournament fills the Benjamin Franklin Expressway with 1,500 marchers and over 5,000 parade-goers, whilst nearly 100,000 extra watch at house.
Dancers, drumlines, marching bands and motorcades (together with colourful floats, vintage vehicles and different embellished cars) make their approach from 18th Boulevard to essentially the most well-known staircase in all of Philadelphia — rain or shine.
