Since 2012, Ballet Edmonton, previously Citie Ballet, has taken centre degree as a certified ballet corporate presenting authentic paintings, with a focal point on recent dance. In 2018, they introduced in acclaimed choreographer Wen Wei Wang as Creative Director and adjusted the title to Ballet Edmonton to “higher mirror our sense of civic delight,” says Sheri Somerville, Government Director.
“We felt it was once essential to proudly use Edmonton in our name since this is the place all of us reside and create.”
