The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted its Airline Center of attention Partnership Assembly on Monday, seventh July, to coordinate efforts with over 50 airways and key tourism stakeholders forward of the height shuttle season within the fourth quarter of the 12 months.

Representing TAT on the 7 July assembly have been two deputy governors for global advertising Chiravadee Khunsub (Europe, Africa, the Center East, and the Americas) and Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai (Asia and the South Pacific).

Amongst the ones in attendance have been representatives from the Airline Operators Committee, Airports of Thailand (AOT), Global Air Delivery Affiliation (IATA), Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), and U-Tapao Airport Authority.

Collaborating airways incorporated Aeroflot, Qatar Airlines, Emirates, Japan Airways, All Nippon Airlines (ANA), Air China, Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airways, Philippine Airways, Thai Airlines Global (THAI), Thai AirAsia, Bangkok Airlines, and Nok Air.

Boosting arrival numbers thru cooperation

The assembly aimed to spice up global arrivals thru joint advertising, larger flight capability, and enhanced connectivity.

This will likely entail aligning campaigns with traveller behaviour to stimulate spending and strengthen native economies.

From January to June 2025, Thailand recorded over 16.68 million global arrivals, with 24.59 million inbound seats, reflecting a seven % year-on-year build up and 88 % above pre-COVID ranges.

Robust expansion got here from Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the USA, Malaysia, China, India, South Korea, and Japan.
